Kasper Geist

Danai (Dan) and her twin, Kasper have only become agents recently and, despite being born with supernatural abilities, are new to the magical community and the existence of magic in general. Kasper is the more reserved of the two. He is friendly and generally cheery, but tends to avoid social situations because of the reactions his appearance usually gets.

Kasper is not a born albino. He had the same dark coloring as his twin, but when he was 10 his appearance changed during what can be described as an extreme spirit encounter, which, as he puts it, “drained his color." Kasper and Danai, are not aware of any magic-folk ancestry in their family, but they were born with spirit awareness abilities. Kasper's abilities are particularly strong, and he is considered a powerful Channeler, able to sense, communicate and bond with spirits in the form of possession. Even as a child, Kasper did his best to help spirits if they asked, usually much to the chagrin of Danai that thought it was too dangerous for him (but she always gave in because - adventure!).

Kasper was always the quiet one of the twins, with the extrovert Danai an extreme opposite, and became more reserved and shy over the years. He is very friendly by nature, but as a child he would sometimes realize too late that the person he struck a conversation with is a spirit, visible only to him. His current appearance attracts attention, but very little of the conversation it sparks is directed to him. He is very aware of the whispering around him, and the first few years after his change were particularly hard. It was the main reason for the family's moving from Germany, where he was born, to the United States, his mother's homeland. The move was in large part because both parents and children felt homeschooling is the best option for them, which was not possible in Germany. Growing up, Kasper remained reserved, but learned to accept his disparity and even embrace it.

Kasper and his sister were invited to become Magiontology Society agents after a chance meeting with Griffin and Mabyn during which Kasper's abilities became evident. Kasper was excited with the idea of magical beings, and also felt immediate affinity towards Griffin, who indeed become his close friend. Joining the Society and becoming an agent was a clear choice for Kasper, since its mission of aid and study fits well with his personality and inner drive to help others (be they alive or dead), and also as a unique opportunity to learn more about his abilities and understand them better.
